A pioneering youth workshop was recently held with the Cadets of St John Ambulance (Humber and East Riding), marking a national first in delivering tailored, age-appropriate training to Cadets on healthy relationships, coercive control and violence prevention.
This session brought together a powerful multi-agency partnership, including Community VISION, East Riding of Yorkshire Council, the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, the Wilberforce Institute, Forum CIO and our organisation.
The health charity St John Ambulance is creating a national training package complete with pre-recorded sessions and live footage. They aim to inspire other youth groups across the UK to run similar sessions with expert organisations.
