Innovative programme to test the use of Virtual Reality headsets as a means of engaging young people aged 11-18 in non-sport diversionary activity.

North Lincolnshire Council have purchased 10 VR Headsets to allow them to develop virtual reality resources that can be used to support education projects dealing with important social issues that young people face, such as knife crime and criminal exploitation. The VR headsets will be utilised to develop new and innovative ways to open conversation around these pressing issues and will be utilised to support out of hours youth diversion provision, awareness raising with community groups/clubs and work with parents/carers.
