Quick Summary

Expanding weekly football academies to cover three additional wards (Willows Estate, Immingham and Park) and re-establish the Fair Play League monthly meeting, providing positive activities for young people to engage in.

The project aims to increase diversionary sporting activity provision in two areas of North East Lincolnshire by increasing sessions at existing providers, culminating in a Fair Play League day involving young people from each area coming together for a team football tournament.

The area targeted is Immingham along with three of the South Wards hosted at Tollbar School.

The Fair Play League is open to both boys and girls aged 12 to 19. The sessions run three nights per week, 2 hour sessions.

Young People are diverted to the activity through local schools, Youth Justice and the YPSS outreach team.
