Sessions are being delivered at the Goole Amateur Boxing Club gym, during weekday afternoons / early evenings, for small groups of five young people, on an eight-week course. Over the course of the eight weeks the young people will engage in activities, including boxing skills, fitness, healthy lifestyles eating and cooking, life skills and first aid.
At the core of the programme is a weekly session at the Boxing club alongside one to one follow up session’s during the week with the youth link worker to produce an action plan with the young person. On completion of the 'In Your Corner' course, each young person will have an agreed bespoke exit plan.
