Quick Summary

Following the success of the NLC ACT FAST programme in 2022/23, further funding has been made available to support continued delivery of the provision for a further 12 months. This will run from 1st April 2023 - 31st March 2024.

The continued antisocial and criminal use of motorcycles by small numbers of young people across North Lincolnshire has been identified through NLCs proactive partnership scanning and analysis work. Illegal motorcycle use enables wider offending activities including violence, the supply of controlled drugs, and theft offences.

The motorbikes project is provided to a targeted cohort identified locally through Operation Yellowfin, TTCG, ASB Panel and MACE.

The project offers those taking part an opportunity to participate in positive activity relating to motorbikes including bike mechanics and restoration. The project also teaches participants how to ride safely and includes other support and direct interventions to reduce the risk of further offending.

The sessions are provided weekly in term time and for three weeks in the summer holidays.

The above projects are being delivered by North Lincolnshire Council, for more information please contact:
