Youth Connect was a website for 11 to 18-year-olds seeking to explore new interests, develop skills and contribute to their community. 

Though Youth Connect is no longer active, we’re exploring other ways to showcase youth activities and youth voice in the region (watch this space!). We’ve also listed similar platforms from our local authorities below – keep reading to learn more.

Our Interventions

We deliver targeted, evidence-informed activities to reduce serious violence and its associated harms.

Our interventions are designed to address underlying risk factors, such as adverse childhood experiences, social inequality and lack of opportunity, while also strengthening protective factors within families and communities.

About Youth Connect

Funded by the Police Science Technology Analysis and Research (STAR) Fund, Youth Connect was a comprehensive directory of activities – including sports clubs, art classes and silent discos – across Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire.

Active from 2024 to 2026, the platform was part of a strengths-based campaign to encourage young people to take part in positive activities as an alternative to being drawn into crime or violence. To make Youth Connect user friendly, we worked with focus groups of young people to co-produce the website.
