VPP Data Day

On Friday 15 November, over 40 delegates attended our #VPPDataDay at the University of Hull.

This event was aimed at data and analytic experts from local organisations and partnerships. The agenda reflected the main themes of the event: the value of multi-agency data in violence reduction and the importance of turning data into accessible insights.

Our speakers included:

• The Humber Violence Prevention Partnership team: Shared expertise on data ethics, single data systems, the Hope Hack projects and data-driven communication.
• Verity Bellamy (Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust): Highlighted the importance of ambulance data in understanding intentional harm.
• Gemma Jennison (Community VISION): Explored the challenges of reporting domestic abuse in rural communities.
• Leonora Lockhart (North Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust): Discussed the role of Domestic Abuse Co-ordinators.
