A new survey lets young people tell the Government what really matters to them.

The UK Government is creating a new National Youth Strategy to tackle challenges faced by the younger generation.

About the Campaign

'Deliver You' is a national campaign across England that is seeking views from young people to inform the National Youth Strategy.

Co-produced with young people, the campaign is an ambitious and exciting opportunity for the younger generation to share their views, experiences and ideas - and to tell the Government what really matters to them.

The campaign theme is inspired by online food delivery services. It focuses on encouraging young people aged 10-21 (25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities/SEND) to ‘Place their Order’ to the government about youth services.

Deliver You Green Cream

The National Youth Strategy aims to bring power back to young people and their communities and improve youth-focused services, moving away from a one-size-fits-all approach.

Key Information

  • Any young people aged 10-21 (25 for those with SEND) can take part in the survey.
  • Search for the hashtags #DeliverYou and #WhatsYourOrder on social media.
  • The deadline for the survey is the 16 April 2025.
  • Young people will have the chance to take part in 1 of 6 regional in-person events (details to be released soon).

About the Partnership

In collaboration with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), the Deliver You campaign is powered by the #iWill MovementMy Life My Say and Savanta.

This partnership is driven by a commitment to helping young people shape and lead change.

The Report

The findings will feed into a report called, ‘Today’s Youth, Tomorrow’s Nation,’ due to be published by the DCMS by spring 2025. This will then inform the National Youth Strategy, to be launched by the Government in the summer.

Why Young People's Voices Matter

Young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow - they are the changemakers of today.

Their voices, ideas and actions are vital in shaping inclusive, forward-thinking communities and government. By actively involving young people in decision-making, we empower them to drive meaningful change, influence policies, shape strategies and create opportunities for themselves and future generations.

True civic empowerment means giving young people the space, support and trust to lead, making sure their contributions are valued and their potential is fully realised.

How to Get Involved

Join us in encouraging and supporting thousands of young people to shape this once in a generation strategy.

Here are some ways you can support the campaign:

  • Ask the young people you know to ‘Place their Order.’ Encourage them to click the link, complete the survey and tell the Government what they think on a range of themes.
  • Amplify the campaign. Share the graphics on social media throughout March, to promote Deliver You to young people and partner organisations in your networks.
  • Circulate the campaign in your official WhatsApp groups, sharing the link to the Deliver You campaign webpage.
  • Sign up to the newsletter to stay connected with regular updates on how professionals can be engaged in the process.
  • Run a quick and fun discussion with your form group, class, youth club, or your youth participation group - encouraging them to ‘Place their Order’ and complete the survey. Check out the short guide to running a quick and easy ‘Deliver You’ session in the official toolkit.
