About the Navigators
Navigators provide support for young people who attend the emergency department due to a violent injury or have been traumatised by violence. The programme aims to reduce hospital admissions, serious violence and domestic homicides – especially amongst those aged 11 to 35. This is achieved through support and guidance to encourage engagement with services and promote movement away from violence.
The Navigators programme was named a Bronze Winner at the 2026 Public Sector Transformation Awards. You can read more about their fantastic work on our case studies page.
