Topics include:

  • Knife crime from the perspective of young people
  • Online harms, such as social media, slang and gang-related music
  • Understanding how issues with peers can escalate
  • Empowering young people to prevent harms
  • Further support and resources available

About the Ben Kinsella Trust

The Ben Kinsella Trust is a charity that tackles knife crime through education and campaigning. Their namesake, Ben, was just 16 years old when he was stabbed to death in a horrific act of senseless violence in 2008.

A few months before he was murdered, Ben wrote to the then prime minister, Gordon Brown, to call on the Government to do more to tackle knife crime. Since his murder, his family have tirelessly campaigned for change.
